Starting a collection of vintage Vail, Colorado shirts. This is only the second one and it happens to be festive. I’m passing on the festivities tonight and staying in and getting work done. Trying to stay on schedule. Personal deadlines. I’m so anxious to get the webstore up but I’m still waiting on patches. Can’t say I’m entirely pleased with the customer service of the company I chose. Why does everything take so so long? The first batch arrives tomorrow and it’ll be my first time seeing them in person so fingers crossed I like how they look. I’ve had some questions regarding what items will be in the store. It will consist of skull button covers, skull hair clips, 2 poster designs, deer patches, and skull patches. The skull button covers and hair clips are all handmade but they aren’t painted. And everything in the store will be $5.
I’ve been trying to figure out how I’m going to operate the confectionery. The most difficult part is the confections. The project would be loads easier if I got rid of that aspect and only did an art installation but what fun is a project if it’s not challenging? I can’t wimp out. I’m going to work my butt off and bring this to life as strong and vividly as it is in my head. I’ve also been working on sketches and I’ll share some but I don’t want to give away the main concept. I’ve figured something out that I think will really make it magical but I want to keep it a surprise. I can barely wait to start building and creating. I’m going nuts with all these little things that need to get done before I can dig in. I’ve been focusing on being in a good place physically and mentally before I really start to sweat it out in the studio. I want to be 100% focused on the art and not have other things nagging at my brain. It’s going to be an insane eight months. Can’t wait!
